Region
The Domaine de la Renjarde vineyards are situated on an “oppida” (a type of natural rise in the terrain), which stretches from Serignan to Uchaux, and makes up one of the fi rst spurs of the Prealpes du Diois”, and provides the vines with good protection from the wind. The nature of the soils, the long sunshine hours and the terraced cultivation combine to result in fi nesse, structure and bouquet in the Renjarde wines.
Terrain
Mainly sandy and calcareous sandstone soils with a good smattering of tiny pebbles which store the heat during the day for release overnight, as well as provide excellent drainage.
