New Zealand's unique and diverse wine regions offer constant challenge in both the viticultural and winemaking aspects of wine production, which provides me the opportunity to be creative. As such there is an urgency to winemaking. You only get so many chances and the seasons offer unique potential to make a truly great or interesting wine. I am not afraid to do things differently to others and I like to experiment. The result is Crowded House - it's all about taking a fresh new look at classic New Zealand wines.
